  • Entry Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable​
This year there will be no team discount for the in person 5K due to the limited number of participants. The $5 team discount is still available for the Virtual 5K and both the 100 and 200 Mile Challenges (teams of 5 participants or more). We encourage you to take advantage of one of the new categories if you or your team members are not comfortable with the in person event. NOTE: Teams can be any combination of In person 5K, Virtual 5K, 100 Mile Challenge, 200 Mile Challenge or Rumpshaker Challenge + 5K participants. ​

Build Your Team
Recruit your team at home, church, school and work. Invite family, friends, and co-workers to join you at the Rumpshaker 5K! Your team can be any combination of runners, walkers and/or kids, as well as, Virtual 5K, 100 Mile and/or 200 Mile Challenge participants. 
  1. Choose a Team Captain and team name
  2. Team Captain will register first and create the team (you must register online)
  3. Recruit at least 4 members (must have a total of 5 including captain), there is no maximum limit of participants 
  4. To receive the team discount ensure a minimum of 5 individuals have registered under your team name by February 22nd (Team discount received at checkout once 5th Team Member is registered. Team Member 1 - 4 will receive a credit to the credit card used at the time of payment.)
  5. Set a goal and fundraise!  
  6. GET CREATIVE AND HAVE FUN!
  7. SHAKE YOUR RUMP for a great cause!

​* All team awards will be available for pick-up at Fleet Feet Sports on March 29, 2021, we will email the team captain and also post winners on social media. 
**Team Spirit Trophies will be awarded based on photo/video submissions from individual team members and/or virtual team events. Submit your photos to info@rumpshaker5k.com by Friday, March 26th.

  • Organize a walking parade in honor/memory of your loved one
  • Invite friends and family from out of town to participate
  • Create a friendly competition among friends to see who can complete the 5K the fastest​
  • Host a socially distanced "race" in your neighborhood or a local park*
  • Host a socially distanced "race" using the official Rumpshaker race route*
  • ​Organize a socially distanced "Walk at Lunch Day" for your office*
  • Organize a "Working Remote Walk at Lunch Day" for your office (everyone walks their neighborhood)
  • Organize a socially distanced dog walk and play date
  • Take a self guided city tour as a team
  • Visit state park as a team
  • Walking scavenger hunt as a team
  • Have a team costume contest (could also be done via Zoom)
  • Make signs in honor/memory of your loved one for your virtual race

5 for $10 - Refer 5 friends get $10 rebate 
At registration you will receive a referral link to share with family and friends. Once 5 people register using your link you will automatically get a $10 rebate on your Rumpshaker registration. Rebate applied to the card used at checkout. The 5 for $10 referral is available for all 5 race options, including the in person 5K. 
One $10 referral rebate per participant. Offer available for each participant who refers 5 friends whether that person is an individual or on a team. Referral link must be used for the rebate to apply.

Support Rumpshaker by becoming a fundraiser using RunSignUp! Simply create a RunSignUp Fundraising page, raise $250+ and get a $25 rebate on your Rumpshaker registration. Rebate applied to the card used at checkout. This offer is available for all 5 race options, including the in person 5K.
