Build Your Team
Recruit your team at home, church, school and work. Invite family, friends, and co-workers to join you at the Rumpshaker 5K! Your team can be any combination of runners, walkers and/or kids, as well as, 5K and/or Fun Run participants.

1. Choose a Team Captain and team name
2. Team Captain will register first and create the team (you must register online)
3. Recruit at least 4 members (must have a total of 5 including captain), there is no maximum limit of participants 
4. Set a goal and fundraise!  
5. SHAKE YOUR RUMP for a great cause at the Rumpshaker 5K!

Team Captain Responsibilities
Be a leader, be a team captain!  The role of Team Captain is very important in recruiting and organizing a team.  Thank you for becoming a leader in the fight against colorectal cancer! 

1. Establish a team name
2. Recruit, organize, and build your team
3. To receive the team discount ensure a minimum of 5 individuals have registered under your team name by March 22nd (Team discount received at checkout once 5th Team Member is registered. Team Member 1 - 4 will receive a credit to the credit card used at the time of payment.)
4. GET CREATIVE AND HAVE FUN!
5. Communicate reminders about the race, fundraising efforts and deadlines to your team
6. SHAKE YOUR RUMP with your team at the Rumpshaker 5K!

Team Awards
Have fun and be creative while supporting a great cause!  In the spirit of friendly competition, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Team Awards will be given as follows:

• Team with Most Participants (Based on the number of members on race day)
• Team with Most Funds Raised Overall (Calculated: total funds raised by 8am on race day)  
• Team with the Most Funds Raised per Team Member (Calculated: total funds raised by 8am on race day divided by the number of team members)
• Fastest Team (Based on chip time) Awards will be given for the fastest Male, Female, and Coed team. All chip timed team members will be recorded then the 5 fastest team members' time will be averaged to determine the winner. Only team members who are chip timed will be considered, so at least 5 of your team members must be chip timed to compete for Fastest Team awards.  
• Most Team Spirit (Based on costumes, team name, t-shirts, props, enthusiasm, etc. to be judged on race day)
