01 · Build a race team

Share the starting line.

A team captain registers first and creates the team in RunSignup. Additional participants then select that team while registering.

Anyone may participate with a team, including families, friends, workplaces, schools, churches, walkers, runners, children, and virtual participants.

Team discount

Teams with at least five eligible participants receive the current $5-per-person team discount. Eligible categories include the In-Person 5K, Virtual 5K, 1 Mile Fun Run, and corresponding survivor categories where applicable.

Team discount deadline: March 20, 2027.

A registered participant who raises $250 may receive up to $25 of the entry fee back under the current RunSignup fundraising offer.

How to build a team

From one invitation to one team.

Choose a captain and team name.
The captain registers and creates the team in RunSignup.
Invite at least four additional people.
Members register and select the team name.
Set an optional fundraising goal and share the team page.
